More than a name lookup
Free-text search checks the published name, description, weapon type, damage type, rarity, season, source, and ammo type. Structured filters can then narrow the same collection.
Search the current Destiny 2 weapon manifest by name, archetype, damage, rarity, season, or source. Artwork stays local; provenance stays visible.
Bungie publishes thousands of Destiny 2 item definitions, but a raw manifest is not a practical browsing tool. Paracausal selects weapon definitions, normalizes the fields people search, keeps official provenance beside each result, and stores the matching Bungie artwork locally for a consistent archive.

The stat panel shows positive base values from the manifest definition. It does not claim to include perks, enhanced traits, masterwork effects, mods, or values from a specific inventory instance.
Each available image was downloaded from Bungie's CDN when the archive was generated. A display icon may be used when a larger screenshot is not published, and that fallback is labeled.
The manifest timestamp in the header describes this archive build. Newly released or corrected weapons appear only after the local index is regenerated from a newer Bungie manifest.
