PARACAUSALREPORT
About / independent utility

Destiny data, made easier to reason about.

Paracausal is an independent Destiny 2 utility that organizes scattered game data into readable reports, searchable references, reset planning, and explicitly ranked build options.

Why Paracausal exists

Official Destiny interfaces expose a great deal of useful information, but answering a practical question can still require moving between activity history, the Director, the manifest, and an account inventory. Paracausal brings those inputs into focused views built around a decision: what is active, what a weapon is, what a recent record actually shows, or which owned armor combinations best fit stated targets.

The site is intended to explain the evidence it displays. It does not hide a Guardian behind an unexplained score, claim access to encounter statistics that are absent from the source, or present community opinion as an official game fact.

What Paracausal adds

Activity summaries

Public raid and dungeon runs are grouped by activity, then converted into completion counts, completion rate, completed-run averages, fastest clears, and recent-run sequences.

Reset synthesis

Milestones, activity definitions, modifiers, challenges, rewards, and reset windows are normalized into one searchable current-rotation view.

Manifest archive

Official weapon definitions and artwork are processed into a local, searchable catalog with provenance, filters, and human-readable detail views.

Deterministic planning

The private Armor Lab evaluates combinations from an authorized inventory against explicit stat targets, mod limits, eligibility rules, and transparent tie-breakers.

These transformations, comparisons, interfaces, and explanations are Paracausal’s original contribution. Source facts remain attributable to their publishers; the organization and calculations are not represented as Bungie-authored analysis.

Sources and freshness

Public Guardian reports use Bungie Platform profile, character, activity-history, and manifest responses. Today uses Bungie milestone and manifest data and may supplement the rotation with publicly published Today in Destiny schedule details. The Weapons archive is generated from the official English-language Destiny 2 manifest and Bungie CDN artwork.

Live views show a generated or updated time when the source provides one. The weapon archive is a snapshot, so a newly released or corrected definition may not appear until that archive is regenerated. Full field-level handling is documented in the methodology.

What the site cannot establish

Displayed data is evidence, not a complete career record.

Bungie privacy choices, API availability, endpoint limits, Cross Save state, missing definitions, and the time window requested can all change what appears.

  • A completion is based on Bungie’s activity-history completion value; it does not independently prove a flawless or full run.
  • Activity time is the duration returned for that history entry. It is not claimed as an official leaderboard placement or speedrun ruling.
  • The current report does not infer encounter damage, checkpoints, farming intent, or skill from data that Bungie does not expose reliably in the response.
  • Featured rotations and rewards can change server-side. In-game information remains authoritative when sources disagree.
  • Armor results are candidate plans from the loaded snapshot, not a promise that every item or mod remains available when a user acts.

Independent by design

Paracausal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bungie. Destiny, Destiny 2, Bungie, and associated names and artwork belong to their respective owners. Third-party source names identify provenance; they do not imply partnership.

The public tools can be used without creating a Paracausal account. Features that need private inventory access use Bungie authorization or an optional companion running on the user’s own computer. Those boundaries are explained in the privacy notice and terms.
